$65-70/hr Introduction The •Company is seeking a motivated and collaborative Composites M&P (Materials and Processes) Engineer to join our Composite Materials Fabrication Site in Mesa, Arizona. Are you a hands-on materials and processes engineer who thrives at the intersection of lab, factory, and design? Join us and help shape advanced aerospace platforms. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position. Prior work experience at client or in client's industry. Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2. Preferred Skills & Qualifications 1 year working with composites, elastomers, and associated processing techniques. Hands-on lab experience with polymer chemistry analytical techniques. Familiarity with materials such as epoxy, cyanate ester, bismaleimide, urethane, polyimide, reinforcements, and adhesives. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Work in a casual, professional environment with multi-disciplinary engineering teams who deliver cutting-edge aerospace solutions. Split your time between office, lab, and production floor-see ideas move from test to flight. Apply chemistry, physics, and material science to develop and qualify composite materials and processing methods.
