Job Description The Boeing Company is seeking a 2nd shift motivated collaborative associate or experienced Composites M&P (Materials and Processes) Engineer to join our Composite Materials Fabrication Site in Mesa, Arizona. Are you a hands-on materials and processes engineer who thrives at the intersection of lab, factory, and design? Join Boeing's Composite Materials Fabrication Site in Mesa, AZ, and help shape advanced aerospace platforms. We're looking for a motivated, collaborative engineer—either early-career or experienced—who's passionate about composites, polymer chemistry, failure analysis, and production problem-solving. This role is full-time 2nd shift and is expected to be 100% onsite (12:30 pm - 10:00 pm). This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position. Your Responsibilities Apply chemistry, physics, and material science to develop and qualify composite materials and processing methods. Provide technical evaluation and material and process support to composite part fabrication. Perform root-cause investigations and implement corrective & preventive actions for material and process issues. Create and execute test plans, write reports and input to specifications for materials, tools, and processes. Qualify and approve equipment, materials and processes. Guide material testing in the Materials & Processes Laboratory. Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement. Travel to suppliers as needed. Integrate new technologies and promote standardization across product lines. Manage test/audit programs, ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, and incorporate EHS, LEAN, and Quality principles into your work.
