Temporary Welding Instructor Location:
Imperial Beach, CA Company:

Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week
Pay:
$35-$45/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Assignment:
Anticipated through January 31, 2027 Job Summary CSL Staffing is seeking an experienced Welding Instructor / Welding Professional for a temporary full-time assignment in Imperial Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on welding and fabrication experience and the ability to teach, train, and mentor young adults in both classroom and shop environments. Formal teaching experience is beneficial but not required. Experienced welders who have trained, mentored, supervised, or coached others are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Provide classroom and hands-on welding instruction. Teach welding processes, equipment operation, fabrication, blueprint reading, measurements, and shop practices. Demonstrate and enforce proper PPE, welding-shop safety, and equipment-operation procedures. Evaluate, coach, and document student progress and competencies. Maintain a safe, organized, and professional welding shop. Support students preparing for employment, apprenticeships, advanced training, and industry credentials. Participate in progress reviews, meetings, and other program activities as needed. These duties reflect the scope of services in the client's

Temporary Welding Instr… Qualifications Professional experience in welding, fabrication, or a closely related skilled trade. Strong knowledge of welding processes, equipment, shop safety, and industry standards. Ability to effectively train and provide hands-on instruction to individuals with varying skill levels. Strong communication, organization, documentation, and classroom-management skills. Ability to meet required background, employment, and site clearance requirements . RFQ6400 Temporary Welding Instr… Beneficial, but not required: Previous welding instruction/training experience; AWS or other welding certifications; experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, FCAW, or multiple welding processes; lead/supervisory experience; and experience training apprentices or junior welders. The selected candidate must complete the required MTC online background disclosure process and any applicable mandatory training associated with the assignment.
Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Experience:
welding and/or fabrication: 5 years (Preferred) teaching, training: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
(MIG, TIG, Stick, FCAW? (Preferred)
