Sr. Condition Evaluation Engineer Twining - 3.6 Long Beach, CA Job Details $120,000 - $170,000 a year 12 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance 401(k) Qualifications Materials engineering within construction Non-destructive testing Technical documentation As-built drawings Construction materials testing As-built drawing coordination Structural systems Site surveys Full Job Description Sr. Condition Evaluation Engineer - Long Beach, CA Twining Concrete Insight (Twining Consulting DBA Twining Concrete Insight), an innovative engineering, consulting, and testing company specialized in concrete-built environment, is seeking a Sr. Condition Evaluation Engineer specialized in evaluation and documentation of existing buildings, structures, and pavements. This position will involve both technical engineering assignments and project management. It is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to make an immediate impact. Responsibilities include proposal preparation, field surveys and investigations (visual and instrumented surveys using various nondestructive instruments), report preparation, development of as-built documentation, technical support of clients and of field personnel of Twining.
Responsibilities:
Perform job walks and prepare technical proposals and cost estimates. Be responsible for the complete scope of field, laboratory, and investigative work. Be responsible for report preparation and client support.
Required Competencies:
An individual with B.Sc., M. Sc., or PhD. degree in civil or structural engineering having experience in condition surveys, material evaluations, nondestructive evaluations, and developing as-built documentation of existing structures, buildings, and pavements. Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers and clients (property owners, developers; agencies, structural engineers, forensic engineers, contractors).
