This position will be based out of the Torrance facility and support both local design and manufacturing activities as well as global Aero materials and process engineering activities and supplier support. This is a challenging, multi-dimensional role that requires the individual to multitask across several concurrent task assignments. This role will be a technical leadership role primarily performing problem resolution activities within supply chain, programs, engineering and external suppliers where the candidate will be expected to act as the Materials Subject Matter Expert in Welding, metal joining, and metallurgy during interactions with internal/external customers, Program Managers, Suppliers, Design and ISC as a recognized technical expert in Metallurgical disciplines.
