Job Description
Position Summary Acuren is seeking a Material Engineer II to support operations in New Castle, DE. Responsibilities The Engineer II independently performs a variety of metallographic examinations and analytical tasks to evaluate material characteristics and quality. Responsibilities include advanced specimen preparation, microstructure analysis using optical and digital microscopy, hardness testing, and image documentation. The Engineer II interprets results, prepares technical reports, and may assist in failure analysis and material verification projects. This role also supports equipment calibration, process improvement, and mentoring of entry-level staff. A solid understanding of metallurgical principles, laboratory standards, and attention to detail are essential for success in this position. Requirements
