  • Keene, NH Plastics Engineer Product Design Process Development Engineer Plastic Products CAD Product Engineer Injection Molding Plastic Molding _ .
Seeking individual with 3+ years plastic injection molding expertise to support the product and process development group for industrial plastic parts ranging in size from 1 oz. to 5 lbs.
Activities:
  • Identify, test, analyze, and select plastic polymers.
  • Develop and review part designs for manufacturability and meet with product design team to recommend changes.
  • Calculate:
    clamp pressure requirements; shot size, speed, and pressure; flow restrictions; air entrapment and venting issues; flashing; weld lines; etc.
  • Design, test, and execute manufacturing process requirements.
  • Advise suppliers on mold fabrication issues.
