Phoenix - Metallurgist I,II,III

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day metallurgical operations of the heap leach pad, including ore stacking, solution application, and drain-down management Monitor and optimize leach recovery through reagent dosing, solution chemistry control, and drip emitter/sprinkler system management Conduct metallurgical test programs (column leach, bottle roll) and interpret results to inform operational decisions Develop and maintain metallurgical mass balances, recovery forecasts, and monthly performance reports for management and regulatory submissions Collaborate with mine planning and geology teams on ore characterization, grade control, and lift scheduling to maximize leach pad efficiency Support water management activities including process water balancing, tailings facility technical support, and water purification/evaporation functions Ensure compliance with environmental permits, site standards, and HSE requirements; participate in audits and regulatory inspections Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent Process-related degree required Hands-on practical application and process optimization Ability to research, analyze information and draw conclusions, and take action to resolve operational, environmental issues, permit compliance, and problem resolution from an operating plan status required Proficiency in multiple software application and network platforms highly preferred Experience in manipulating and analyzing large datasets programmatically is highly preferred Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required What We Can Offer You A comprehensive compensation package including a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!
