A Materials Research Engineer researches materials and works to discover materials that may be used in new and emerging technologies and support innovation. Identifies new or different combinations of materials to improve product performance and durability.
Project involves deep expertise with microwave and qubit characterization of super/semi materials. The job also requires dilution refrigerator characterization of the quantum circuits. This project involves collaborating with theoretical and experimental groups within and outside NYU. Team work, good communication skills and discipline in summarizing results are necessary. In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500 - $68,000.
