Possesses comprehensive experience in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG). Demonstrates a strong commitment to OSHA‑compliant safety practices and excels in blueprint creation and interpretation. Brings foundational knowledge in robotic welding systems and numerically controlled cutting, supporting efficient, precise, and high‑quality fabrication processes. Must be able to provide regular in-person instruction as assigned. Position Information Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Work Schedule:
 Typically, Monday through Friday.
Primary Location:
 Steubenville Qualifications and Competencies Required Certifications, Training, and/or
Licensures:
 AWS or equivalent related certification in one or more welding processes. Sponsorship and/or
Work Authorization Status:
 Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
 AWS or equivalent related certification in one or more welding processes with a high school diploma or GED; at least three years of practical welding experience in at least one of the following categories: Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/Mig), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/Tig), OSHA Safety, Blueprint creation and reading, Basic robotic welding, and/or Basic numerically controlled cutting. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
 Associate or bachelor's degree in welding. Experience with basic robotic welding and automated 2D cutting. Certified Welding Educator (CWE) credentials. Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credentials. NC3 Train-the-Trainer certification.
Physical Requirements:
In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this position will perform sedentary work.
Sedentary:
work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs may be defined as Sedentary when walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other Sedentary criteria are met.
