The ideal candidate will bring metallurgical experience to direct process improvement for new product development. Requirements include a BS in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science or similar, and 3+ years of process improvement within a manufacturing and laboratory environment. Hot metals or powder metals is a plus! All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Wernersville, Pennsylvania job type: Permanent salary: $100,000 - 125,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Conduct R&D to optimize processes and develop new products.

Lead technology transfers to manufacturing and draft Capital Appropriation Requests for equipment upgrades.

Provide metallurgical expertise to Production, Sales, and Quality teams Review customer specifications, run process capability reports, and resolve technical CAPAs.

Author SOPs and Workstation Procedures in compliance with safety and quality systems.

Evaluate emerging industry technologies and report progress to the Director of Operations.
Requirements:
