Novarc Welding Robot Operator / Welder TDIndustries United States, Texas, Dallas May 11, 2026 Job Summary We are seeking a Certified Welder with hands-on experience operating automated welding systems, specifically Novarc welding robots. The ideal candidate will have strong robotic welding knowledge, the ability to work 1st or 3rd shift, and a commitment to quality, safety, and production efficiency. Candidates without direct Novarc experience may be considered if they have relevant experience with Roto-Weld or Ready to Weld systems. Essential Duties Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Novarc welding robots to meet production and quality standards Set up welding parameters, fixtures, and tooling for automated welding processes. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specifications Adjust programs and welding variables as needed to maintain weld quality Maintain a safe, organized work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards Perform basic equipment maintenance and report issues to maintenance/engineering Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to improve welding efficiency Minimum Requirements Certified Welder (AWS or equivalent certification required) 3+ years of experience operating Novarc welding robots Ability to work 1st or 3rd shift as required Strong understanding of welding processes (GMAW/FCAW/SAW preferred, as applicable) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions Proven track record of producing consistent, high-quality welds Preferred / Alternate Experience Experience with Roto-Weld and/or Ready to Weld automated welding systems in lieu of direct Novarc experience Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial production environment Robotic welding programming or troubleshooting experience Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [insert weight if needed] Willingness to work weekends or overtime as production demands require Grow Your Career with TDIndustries Founded in 1946, TDIndustries is a premier, employee-owned Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) company delivering full-lifecycle building solutions-from design and construction to service and facilities maintenance.
