Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to support structural MIG welding operations in a high-volume industrial manufacturing plant. Working directly with welding crews and inspecting structural welds to ensure quality and compliance. Responsibilities Inspect structural MIG welds for quality, workmanship, and compliance with specifications. Spend the majority of the day on the production floor interacting with welding pits and operators. Identify weld defects and work with welders and supervisors to correct issues. Interpret welding procedures, blueprints, and inspection requirements. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. Support weld quality improvements and help maintain consistent welding standards. Perform visual inspections and other required testing methods. Qualifications Current CWI certification required. Experience inspecting structural MIG welding preferred. Experience in an industrial manufacturing or steel fabrication environment. Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and welding procedures. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. NDT Level I certification preferred, but not required. If you meet the follow qualifications please apply today and join our growing team!
