Job Description

Perform MIG and TIG welding operations to fabricate components according to blueprints, welding specifications, and production quality requirements. Job Requirements Experience performing MIG welding. Experience performing TIG welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding drawings. Knowledge of welding procedures and applicable welding standards. Experience working within production quality requirements. Knowledge of manufacturing and welding safety procedures. Preferred Skills Experience welding fabricated metal components or assemblies. Experience working from detailed welding symbols and specifications. Experience performing visual inspection of completed welds. Experience in a production welding or manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities Perform MIG and TIG welding on production components and assemblies. Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications. Set up welding equipment and materials for assigned jobs. Complete welding operations according to applicable quality requirements. Inspect completed welds for defects and workmanship requirements. Meet established production and productivity targets. Follow applicable welding and manufacturing safety procedures. Maintain welding equipment and surrounding work areas according to shop requirements.
