The ideal Welding Engineer III will have the following responsibilities: Develop and maintain welding procedures that meet ASME, AWS, ABS, and NAVSEA code requirements for commercial, government, and ship repair projects.Provide technical guidance to production and welding personnel on fabrication methods, material requirements, welding specifications, and critical joint applications.
