There is an exciting opportunity for a Summer Internship at Stryten Energy in our Milwaukee, WI, facility. This intern will work 40-hour workweeks running from May through August. Housing is not provided, so you must have both housing and transportation. The Manufacturing Engineer Co-op will support tooling design, product design, and secondary equipment design functions, as well as comply with the quality system procedures as required and complete engineering projects that will optimize production, reduce downtime, and provide the highest quality parts for our customers. If an unsafe condition is identified, it must be addressed immediately to protect team members and restore equipment to safe operation as quickly as possible. Learn and implement injection mold tooling design. Learn and implement Engineering Change Notices, Bills of Materials, Sampling Packets, and analysis as required. Collaborate with engineering staff as required to ensure components conform to customer requirements. Participate in design reviews and work to improve design for manufacturability. Capable of learning and following all
ISO 9000

Qualifications We are looking for students: Graduating between December 2027 and May 2029 Working towards a BS in Plastics Engineering/ Plastics Processing or Manufacturing Engineering With a GPA of 3.0 or greater You must have housing and transportation The position is required to work on-site daily Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in changing situations. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to drive tasks to completion. Our environment is casual but professional, and our interns are exposed to plant leadership.
