DOE About this Role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our EPC team supporting power generation and distribution projects, including gas turbines, renewables, battery energy storage (BESS), substations, and transmission systems. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, safe, and constructible mechanical designs through all phases of project execution. Work Detail Develop conceptual layouts, preliminary designs, and cost studies for mechanical systems. Design complex process and utility piping systems using advanced engineering methods. Produce estimate-level designs, material take-offs, and detailed design sketches. Perform piping stress analysis, sizing calculations, and select valves, supports, and specialty materials. Review vendor and interdisciplinary drawings; provide mechanical design input. Support drafting teams with layout and detailing coordination. Assist with scope development, procurement documentation, construction packages, and field support. Conduct field verification and provide construction/commissioning support. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. Employee may be required to visit job sites, field offices, and customer locations. Preferred Background Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. PE license highly preferred. Minimum 7 years of industrial or EPC mechanical engineering experience. Strong knowledge of piping design, stress analysis, supports, safety devices, steam traps, and specialty materials. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Plant 3D (required), Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and within virtual, cross-functional teams. #GTS123
