Job Description
Mechanical Engineer (Testing & Analysis) opportunity to help develop a small unmanned electric aircraft from the ground up with an innovative aerospace organization. Onsite in Scottsdale, AZ 6+ month contract with possibility for extensions This team is looking for engineers who enjoy working hands-on across the full development lifecycle, from design and analysis through testing, prototyping, and flight validation. Key Responsibilities Design and develop UAV airframe components and systems Perform aerodynamic, propulsion, structural, and performance analyses Develop and execute component and system test plans Analyze flight and test data to drive design improvements Create CAD models and assemblies in SolidWorks Support prototyping, fabrication, and aircraft integration efforts Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of UAV, drone, electric aircraft, or aerospace engineering experience Experience with aircraft design, testing, or performance analysis Knowledge of aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and aircraft structures Proficiency with MATLAB and/or SolidWorks Experience with composites, lightweight structures, prototyping, or flight testing U.S. Citizenship required If this is something you'd be interested in please send over a copy of your resume and I can give you a call.
