You will apply your advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and cutting-edge design tools to create reliable, efficient, and high-quality mechanical systems and components. In this role, you will impact the development of next-generation mechanical solutions that enhance product functionality and customer satisfaction, while contributing to Honeywell Aerospace's strategic goals in technology and innovation. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute advanced mechanical design projects for test equipment and test fixtures to support development, qualification, and production ensuring adherence to quality and performance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define complex mechanical requirements and develop innovative solutions. Perform detailed mechanical analysis and simulations to validate design integrity and optimize system performance. Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics. 4 years of experience in mechanical design and development with a focus on advanced mechanical systems Knowledge of mechanical design principles, methodologies, and best practices for complex systems Proficiency in CAD software and mechanical analysis/simulation tools to develop and validate designs effectively Experience with materials selection, manufacturing processes, and product testing to ensure design feasibility and reliability
WE VALUE
Proficiency specifically in NX CAD software Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS, PhD) Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects and mentoring junior engineers Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in mechanical design Familiarity with digital design tools and integration with cross-functional product development teams
