Job Description

- PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a motivated
- Project Engineer
- to support the development, testing, qualification, and delivery of advanced
- electro-mechanical actuation systems
- used in defense and next-generation more-electric aircraft applications.

- What You'll Do
- Project Execution & Coordination
- + Support project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and execution plans. + Coordinate development activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams. + Assist with project tracking, metrics reporting, and program status updates. + Support risk identification, mitigation planning, and program execution activities.
- Engineering Development & Testing
- + Participate in the development and qualification of electro-mechanical actuation systems. + Support product validation through build, integration, and testing activities. + Develop and maintain: + Test plans + Test procedures + Technical reports + Engineering documentation + Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis
- + Investigate technical issues and support corrective action implementation. + Perform root cause analysis on product, manufacturing, or test-related challenges. + Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical problems.
- Customer & Stakeholder Support
- + Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. + Communicate project status, technical findings, and recommendations. + Support technical reviews and project meetings.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Bachelor's Degree in: + Mechanical Engineering + Electrical Engineering + Aerospace Engineering + Related Engineering Discipline +
- 3+ years of engineering experience
- + Experience supporting: + Product development + Testing + Qualification programs + Validation & verification efforts + Mechanical design and/or electronics design experience.
+ Experience with root cause and corrective action methodologies.
+ Familiarity with:
+ Microsoft Project
+ Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
+ Project coordination tools and processes
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bonus Qualifications
- + Aerospace industry experience + Defense industry experience + Electromechanical systems experience + Manufacturing engineering experience + Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) knowledge + Experience working on highly regulated engineering programs
