Who You Are You're an engineer excited to integrate mechanical, electrical, process, software, and test engineering to drive R D forward. Responsibilities and Duties Lead the design, development, qualification, and scaleup of novel electrode and cell prototyping and testing capabilities Manage projects involving multiple functions to stay on target and keep stakeholders informed Document and train teammates on the operation and data analysis of systems and processes Proactively identify issues and support operations by continuously improving system performance Invest in our values and vision and champion them as we grow Knowledge and Skill Requirements Experience developing materials, assembly, or test processes, particularly for R D Demonstrated cross-functional project management skills Experience implementing safety and data collection/analysis best practices At least a B.S. in engineering or physical science and 5 years of hands-on industry experience; lithium-ion battery experience is a plus Experience in computer automated design (mechanical or electrical) is a plus Physical Demands and Working Conditions Wear personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, and safety shoes Move items up to 30 lbs with the assistance of lift equipment and carts Move long distances (such as from building to building) Precisely manipulate equipment and tools, such as screwdrivers and wrenches Monday- Friday, 9:00am
- 6:00pm The starting base pay for this role is between $151,000 and $177,500 at the time of posting.
