Job Description:
Role Summary We are seeking an Associate Test Engineer to support the testing and validation of new and emerging technologies for an 18-month long contract. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys hands?on lab work, problem solving, and collaboration in a fast?paced, engineering?focused environment. In this position, you will support system and component?level testing across electrical and optomechanical assemblies. You will assist with test setup, execution, troubleshooting, and documentation while working independently on routine tasks and receiving general guidance on new or more complex assignments. Attention to detail, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn are key to success in this role. Must?

Haves Hands?on exposure to electrical or electromechanical testing through school, internships, labs, or early career roles Basic experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes or digital multimeters Ability to read and follow schematics, drawings, and test procedures Comfortable working in a lab or clean room environment Willingness to learn new tools, tests, and processes Ability to work flexible hours when needed and handle light physical requirements Day?to?

Day Responsibilities Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies Execute system?level and final assembly testing and perform rework as needed Develop or follow test methods, procedures, and specifications based on drawings and diagrams Identify issues during testing and recommend solutions based on findings Prepare clear technical reports summarizing test results and corrective actions Assist with the selection, setup, and use of specialized test equipment Perform daily testing activities with minimal instruction and apply judgment to resolve issues
