Job Description

We have 25 years of expertise in process and power generation systems, coupled with emerging technologies in renewable energy sources and environmental ecology, making us a single-stop provider of turn-key solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead multidisciplinary team to design and develop engineering solutions for gas turbine power generation and industrial process systems.

Ensure design meets all the industry standards including drawing GD&T, materials selection, thermal management, vibration, ventilation and air circulation, lubrication, fuel supply management, manufacturability, and mechanical & electrical acceptance. Fabrication centric design approach that ensures ease of equipment installation and integration.

Implementing the growth mindset amongst the team with positive work environment.

Develop and design 3D models using SolidWorks for mechanical components and assemblies and create detailed 2D technical drawings, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements.

Review manufacturing drawings and assembly drawings to ensure proper fabrication and integration.

Perform and facilitate CAE analysis including thermal, fluid flow, foundation, acoustic and structural analysis.

Prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM) and other technical documentation as required.

Continuously improving design processes and standards for efficiency and quality.

Stay up to date with the latest SolidWorks tools and design trends to implement the best practices.

Work as a liaison between engineering team, production team, management, project management, sales, and purchasing department.

Review and approve all projects specific design documents i.e. calculations, drawings, specifications, equipment, customer requirements, supplier IDMs, and instrument lists.

Reporting by writing or presenting regular progress reports for review and status updates.

Interfacing customers, suppliers and our team members to prepare and implement solution centric roadmaps.

Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. Excellent communication and organization skills as this position will interface directly with customers, suppliers and other stakeholdersQualificationsBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.6 - 10 years of experience of applied engineering is required for this position.

Proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks/AutoCAD is a must.

Experience with SolidWorks PDM is required.

Expert level knowledge in various streams of engineering including Thermal, Acoustical, Structural, and Power GenerationGrowth mindset and strong problem-solving skillsExpert knowledge of supporting software: Word, Excel, Power Point, OutlookExperience with Sheet metal fabrication/manufacturing is a mustMaster's degree in mechanical engineering a plusEIT/PE is preferred.

Great mathematical skills and fundamentals in geometry and trigonometryAn excellent grasp of engineering and design principles and an awareness of the environmental impact of design ideasStrong ability to communicate with teammates on project blockers, updates on assignments, and overall responsiveness via email and MS TeamsAppreciation for business demands and an understanding of manufacturing processesExcellent communication skills, Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand English.
