Job Description
Our client, a leader in the semiconductor industry, is seeking a Sr. Physical Design Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Physical Design Engineer, you will be part of the Physical Design Department supporting the System-on-Chip (SoC) development team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

- What's the Job?
- + Develop and implement physical design solutions for SoC devices from RTL, netlists, and design constraints provided by engineering teams.
+ Perform floorplanning, power grid design, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, timing closure, and physical verification.
+ Analyze design quality, identify implementation issues, and verify completed layouts meet performance, power, area, and manufacturability requirements.
+ Review physical design methodologies, validate implementation flows, and support tapeout activities.
+ Utilize EDA tools, automation scripts, and other computerized design equipment to optimize design processes.
- What's Needed?
- + 10+ years of experience in physical design for integrated circuits or similar roles.
+ Proficiency with physical design tools and methodologies used in SoC development.
+ Strong understanding of design constraints, timing analysis, and verification processes.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
