Lab Service EngineerLocation:

Fremont, California (On-site) Role OverviewWe are seeking a Lab Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of equipment within an applications lab environment. This role involves working closely with engineering departments on research and development activities and may include domestic and international travel. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibration on lab equipment.

Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include respirators, for safe handling of materials.

Support Process Development, Hardware, and Software Engineering departments with R&D activities and customer demonstrations.

Install and support prototype equipment, developing procedures and documentation as needed.

Provide support for system hardware and software, which may include field and direct customer interaction.

Occasionally train Field Service Engineers, Engineering Technicians, and other personnel.

Required QualificationsExperience:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry is required. Candidates should have experience working in a clean room environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in electronics and mechanics.

Experience with robotics and pneumatics.

Strong troubleshooting capabilities.

Familiarity with Digital Voltmeters (DVM). Preferred QualificationsA degree is preferred.

Experience with automotive repair is beneficial.
