We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to support the development of next-generation semiconductor equipment in a highly collaborative engineering environment. In this role, you'll contribute to the design, analysis, testing, and validation of mechanical hardware while partnering with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

What You'll Do:
Design and develop mechanical components and hardware for semiconductor equipment applications Perform engineering analysis related to heat transfer, stress, vibration, fluid/gas dynamics, and manufacturability Create and execute validation and characterization test plans for new and existing designs Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering teams to ensure manufacturable, cost-effective solutions Prepare technical documentation including FMEA, specifications, risk analyses, and design review presentations Ensure engineering documentation complies with SEMI, ANSI, DIN, and GD&T standards Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant engineering experience OR Master's degree with 0-1 years of relevant engineering experience 2+ years of experience in thermal analysis and heat transfer applications 2+ years of CAD design experience, preferably using NX 2+ years of experience interpreting and applying GD&T standards 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office in a technical or engineering environment
What Sets You Apart:
Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) Skills in MATLAB and Simulink Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience including structural or CFD analysis Broad knowledge of materials including metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and coatings Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate and compare competing design concepts effectively
