Job Information The Engineering Intern at McKenna Engineering will support Engineering by contributing to design, analysis, and integration of systems and equipment. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in engineering fundamentals, CAD design, and project execution, while working on a variety of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to adapt to a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with the design and integration of pumps, compressors, vacuum systems, pneumatic conveying systems, and piping systems Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create and modify engineering drawings Perform calculations and apply engineering principles in support of projects involving pump hydraulics, gas compression, and vacuum applications Support the development of project plans and schedules, including the use of Gantt charts Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate various pieces of equipment into a cohesive system Carry out assigned engineering tasks to completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Assist with small-scale projects and contribute to problem-solving initiatives Prepare and update documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
