"Scaffolds, Inspection and Testing" certification since 1984. The Mechanical Engineer job requires a good knowledge of aluminum and steel stress analysis, gear motors, bearings, and hydraulics. Some knowledge of electrical design is helpful but will not be a primary requirement. Learning the code requirements for exterior maintenance equipment, fall protection and fall restraint for both federal and state will be part of the learning curve. Experience in the crane industry will likely be helpful. Knowledge of the following software is required: AutoCAD Mechanical or AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, some FEA, preferably inside Autodesk Inventor or Solid works, but other software would be considered. The Mechanical Engineer job is hiring now..Mechanical Engineer :
- Bachelor's in science mechanical engineering
- Obtains Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor or equivalent. (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office o Outlook o Word o Excel
- Confident in phone conversations
- Proficient and confident in conference call meetings.
- Proficient in business email communication.
- Proficient in teamwork is a must!
- Proficient in mechanical plan reading.
- The ability to read and navigate through Architectural and Structural building plans.
- Able to carry or lift 50 LBS in weight.
- Able to climb ladders and stairs.
- Able to travel within the state of California and out of state.
- Able to perform job walks that include overnight stay.
- Has transportation to and from the Anaheim office.
- Comfortable working on building roofs. Comfortable with heights.
- Attention to detail and safety.
