Create the highest-level Class-A surfaces regarding construction layout, continuity, highlights, curvature analysis and other design requirements which include scans or sketches and complying with the standards established by the industry and approved by our Managerial Staff. Create fast and high-quality concept modeling geometry from scratch or sketches. Communicate digital development by participating and sharing any work in meetings and presentations with Design and Engineering teams. Propose different technical solutions to design and engineering day-to-day open issues. Create engineering criteria when necessary to start a project using existing production CAD, sections, and prior vehicle knowledge. Take active measures to ensure data deliveries are met on time managing resources as deemed necessary. Create and develop new digital design tools and practices. Mentor junior team members. Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, $204,082.00 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Automotive Design, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and 10 years of related work experience. Must have 10 years of experience in each of the following:

• Experience as a mechanical engineer or related role working with ICEM Surf/Alias in an automotive environment;
• Automotive development within a Design Department, spanning from concept to final production;
• Collaborating with designers to ensure alignment with aesthetic goals and overall design harmony throughout the product development process;
• Assessing manufacturability and material selection, with a focus on how these elements impact surface development and potential enhancements;
• Establishing and implementing craftsmanship standards that drive vehicle production, applying engineering principles and analytical problem-solving to create effective solutions that minimize visual discrepancies; and
• Delivering surface data, reference points, and sectional information to facilitate the accurate construction of physical models.

Must have 5 years of experience managing a digital modeling team throughout the production process. Domestic travel required up to 5% and international travel required up to 5% to have in-person collaboration with other organization within the company.
