This position will be located at our Space sector in Manhattan Beach, CA . The selected candidate will support test equipment and operational ground equipment development. The position will require selected candidate to create, modify and maintain drawings of hardware which includes, but not limited to custom test sets, custom drawers, test cables and hardware designed to be inserted into ground antennas and supporting facilities. The selected candidate will be responsible for the electronic packaging of hardware, design updates and drawing documentation.Essential Functions:
Understand electrical requirements and translate those into a mechanical designs Ensure consistency and quality of hardware designs Experience with 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation Hardware design and drawing creation in CREO Work with data management systems such as Winchill and Enovia Present at design reviews Involved in program meetings as an integral member providing status updates, creating schedules, identifying staffing needs, identifying challenges and providing solutions The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must also be able to collaborate closely with electrical and mechanical engineers.Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Electromechanical Engineer Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 0 years of design/electrical engineering experience OR Experience in electro-mechanical design/products Academic experience with 3D CAD tools through college coursework and/or college project Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering Experience with 3D CAD tool such as CREO and Catia v5 Experience with 2D CAD tool such as AutoCAD Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward) Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and managementTS or SCI Basic Qualifications:

Associate Electromechanical Engineer:
$76,200 to $114,400Electromechanical Engineer:
$91,800 to $137,600Primary Level Salary Range:
$76,200.00 - $114,400.00Secondary Level Salary Range:
$91,800.00 - $137,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
