LP Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Exterior Trim Systems Engineer to design and develop critical exterior vehicle components. This role demands a creative and driven individual to contribute to world-class vehicle styling and functionality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engineering principles and a passion for delivering exceptional product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the packaging, design, release, and launch of avant-garde exterior trim systems. Engineer cutting-edge exterior systems prioritizing quality, reliability, functionality, mass, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate cross-functionally within studio and vehicle engineering teams, focusing on overall vehicle benefit. Utilize and advance world-class engineering tools and innovative approaches for system generation. Develop designs for components such as side valences, sill trims, underbody aero shields, and spoilers.

Must-Have Skills:

7-8 years of experience in vehicle exterior trim design and development. Proven proficiency in creating complex CAD schemes and models, preferably in CATIA V5 or V6. Demonstrable experience with thermoplastic & thermoset resin materials and Class A manufacturing technologies.
