Description Contract-Hire need for a Mechanical Packaging Engineer. Will support engineering design & analysis for packaging flight electronics. Emphasis on mechanical packaging design (both from a box level and connector/harness level). Able to understand environmental requirements (thermal, shock, vibration, etc.) and work with Analysts on team to Skills mechanical packaging, design engineering, avionics design, Mechanical engineering, space flight hardware, harness design, thermal analysis, vibration analysis, unigraphics nx, cad design Top Skills Details mechanical packaging,design engineering,avionics design Additional Skills & Qualifications 5-15 years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace electronics packaging or housing Mechanical design engineering from concept through CAD designing and prototype production Must Have experience with R D, prototype packaging or housing (space flight electronics packaging design preferred; military/ defense, LRU's or Avionics housing design for Drones, autonomous vehicles, ) Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
