As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the R D department supporting product development and sustaining engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

$80- 85/ hr on w2 What's the Job? Provide technical leadership in sustaining products for complex Class II and Class III medical devices, including ventricular assist devices, blood pumps, and oxygenators. Lead complex investigations related to product performance, complaints, CAPAs, and field issues using structured root cause analysis methodologies. Research, develop, test, and sustain mechanical and electromechanical systems used in cardiovascular products. Drive cross-functional efforts to identify, assess, and implement product, process, and reliability improvements throughout the product lifecycle. Design, develop, qualify, and validate equipment and fixtures for engineering verification, reliability testing, and failure analysis activities. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. 15+ years of experience supporting Class II and/or Class III medical devices, including product development and sustaining engineering. Proven ability to lead complex technical investigations and influence cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of FDA Design Controls, product lifecycle management, and medical device development processes. Expertise in mechanical design, tolerance analysis, GD&T, materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly methods. What's in it for me?
