Senior Mechanical Engineer - Healthcare PTS Advance | San Diego, CA PTS Advance is Hiring! San Diego, CA Full-Time | Direct Hire PTS Advance is partnering with a well-established engineering consulting firm to identify a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience designing mechanical systems for healthcare and hospital facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to the design of critical healthcare environments, including hospitals, medical office buildings, surgical centers, and healthcare campuses. Responsibilities Lead the design of HVAC and mechanical systems for healthcare and hospital projects. Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents. Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, healthcare regulations, and industry standards. Support projects through all phases, from concept design through construction administration. Mentor and collaborate with junior engineers and designers. Participate in client meetings and help maintain strong client relationships. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering E.I.T. certification required Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or willingness to obtain PE licensure in the near future 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience Healthcare, hospital, or medical facility project experience required Strong HVAC design experience Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and related engineering software Excellent communication and leadership skills Why Join This Team?
