Responsibilities Lead the conceptualization and detailed design of mechanical components and assemblies using advanced CAD software. Perform comprehensive analysis including stress, thermal, and motion simulations to validate design integrity. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as electrical, manufacturing, and quality assurance to integrate mechanical solutions seamlessly. Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure clarity and compliance with industry standards. Support prototype development by providing technical guidance during fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting phases. Continuously seek opportunities for design optimization to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance manufacturability. Maintain meticulous records of design iterations, test results, and technical communications for project traceability. Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing or product development environment. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools is essential. Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles. Experience with finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), or other simulation tools is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to innovation and continuous improvement. Effective communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly across teams.
