Job Description
Responsibilities:
Provide primary support for metrology and analytical tools and equipment Perform repair and system recovery on equipment owned Work with OEM to troubleshoot and investigate root cause Maintain professional interaction with internal teams and external vendors (OEMs) Log all tool-related activities in the designated database Coordinate with OEM suppliers at the start of each shift regarding onsite schedules Conduct daily walkthroughs of assigned buildings/equipment to: Monitor equipment status and all support equipment Organize and schedule preventive maintenance (PM) on responsible tools Perform SPC wafers and record data for tool stability trending Notify and schedule repairs and PM using the provided database Escort OEM suppliers and assist with technical support as needed Participate in on-the-job training for technical tasks and minor tool modifications Update equipment status and repair records daily Maintain and organize supplier manuals and documentation in electronic format Mentor junior technicians as required Perform system qualifications and wafer recovery tasks Support customer management programs by documenting SPC runs and equipment status Other duties as assignedRequirements:
Years of Experience:
0 - 2 years Recent college graduate in electronics or with 3-4 years of industry experience Basic knowledge of semiconductor processes and analytical equipment Understanding of safety and cleanroom protocols Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal) Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks in an R D environment Experience with equipment operation, calibration, and qualification Self-starter with excellent time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Familiarity with hazardous materials andSEMI E10
