$62,000•82,000 DPOE DELANE Engineering, Inc. seeks a Design Engineer to join our Santa Monica, CA office. The Design Engineer will support and lead research, design, plan preparation, and permitting for a wide variety of public and private commercial, institutional, residential, industrial, and mixed-use development and municipal transportation and storm water related public works projects. Primary responsibilities include research of existing utility information from governmental agencies and private utility companies and preparation of plan documents (i.e. Construction Documents, Tentative Maps, Site Plans, exhibits and Concept Studies), detailed cost estimates, earthwork calculations, and storm water technical studies.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS B.S.

in Civil Engineering 0-3 years of civil engineering experience EIT license preferred, on path to P.E. Drivers license, personal vehicle, insurance AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred Technical background in Civil Engineering and/or construction Ability to solve problems and provide responsive follow-through to final resolution Strong organizational skills Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work well independently or in a team environment Good interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships with clients, agencies and internal personnel Responsible for completing work accurately and on time DELANE offers excellent benefit packages that includes competitive salary, annual profit sharing bonus, 100% paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance for employee, professional registration dues, Paid Time Off, dry cleaning, and 401-K Retirement Plan, including employer contribution of 3% of salary.
