Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to work on-site with our client, a top-tier electronics company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits
Responsibilities:
Supporting the design, integration, and deployment of robotic test automation systems. Design and modify mechanical components and automation systems using 3D CAD. Create drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation. Support prototype fabrication, system builds, assembly, integration, and troubleshooting. Assist with design reviews, tolerance analysis, component selection, and verification. Work with technicians, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams to resolve issues. Identify improvements in cost, reliability, manufacturability, safety, and maintainability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field. 0 5 years of relevant experience. Experience with 3D CAD through school, internships, projects, or professional work. Knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, tolerancing, and drawings. Basic understanding of mechatronic systems, including electrical and pneumatic schematics. Hands-on aptitude and willingness to participate in equipment builds and troubleshooting. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Must be a U.S. Person.
Preferred:
Siemens NX and/or Teamcenter experience. Robotics, automation, electromechanical, or machine-design experience. Experience with BOMs, production drawings, FEA, prototyping, machining, or 3D printing. Internship, co-op, capstone, Formula SAE, robotics club, or similar hands-on experience.
