Annual Salary:
$85,000 - $110,000We are seeking an experienced Quality Component Engineer to help drive product excellence, ensure component reliability, and support ongoing innovation. In this role, you will work at the intersection of quality, design, and manufacturing, leading component evaluations, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring every part meets the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead component quality efforts across the product lifecycle, from selection and qualification to field performancePerform component risk assessments including obsolescence, variability, and sourcing stabilityLead DFMEA and PFMEA activities with design, manufacturing, and reliability teamsSupport process validation for new or modified components, processes, and suppliers IQ OQ PQInvestigate and resolve complex quality issues using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone methodsConduct supplier evaluations and support incoming inspection criteria for critical componentsMonitor key quality metrics including yield, DPPM, and failure trends and drive improvement initiativesMaintain and enhance the Quality Management System and support internal and external auditsRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering2-5+ years of experience in manufacturing or product development, preferably with electronic componentsHands on experience with FMEA, risk analysis, and process validationKnowledge of
ISO 9001-2015, IPC
