Bachelor's degree or higher in physics, applied physics, electrical engineering, photonics, or a closely related field, with a solid foundation in physics. Strong analytical reasoning and demonstrated problem-solving ability. Familiarity with laboratory experimentation, scientific instrumentation, or experimental data analysis through coursework, research, or projects. Familiarity with at least one programming or scientific computing environment, such as Python, Verilog, MATLAB, LabVIEW, C/C++, or similar tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work on projects subject to applicable U.S. government contracting and export-control requirements. Prior experience in quantum sensing, atomic physics, or photonics is not required.
