Entry-Level About the Position We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a Mechanical Engineering or Technical background to join a manufacturing team in Whittier, CA. This opportunity is ideal for a college student currently taking mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or related technical courses who wants to gain hands-on experience in a professional manufacturing environment. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects, learn about manufacturing and metal finishing processes, and develop valuable technical skills while working alongside experienced professionals. Responsibilities Assist with daily manufacturing and production activities. Support basic mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving. Read and interpret basic blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. Assist with measuring, inspecting, and verifying manufactured components using measuring tools. Help identify product defects and support quality control inspections. Learn about metal finishing, plating, coatings, and other manufacturing processes. Assist with technical documentation, data entry, and maintaining accurate production records. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with team members to improve workflow, efficiency, and product quality. Qualifications Currently enrolled in college and taking mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or related technical courses preferred. Basic understanding of mechanical principles and manufacturing processes. Strong interest in engineering, manufacturing, and hands-on technical work. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software and equipment. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to follow instructions. Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn. Previous manufacturing or technical experience is a plus but not required.
