Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer intern for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Colorado Springs, CO facility. The selected candidate will join the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division and Sentinel program. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
The candidate must:
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027.
- Be majoring in or having majored in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be able to obtain a U.

- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.

Bachelors:
$24.25 - $29.50 per hourMasters:
