Work in a culture that values safety, trust, and teamwork Be empowered to lead reliability and process improvement initiatives Gain exposure to capital projects and long-term plant optimization efforts Build your career with a company that emphasizes training, professional growth, and community responsibility The Opportunity As a Mechanical Maintenance & Reliability Engineer , you'll play a key role in improving equipment reliability and performance in a fast-paced sugar processing facility. You'll analyze mechanical systems, implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and lead projects that enhance uptime, efficiency, and safety.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, day shift (occasional weekends for emergencies) What You'll Do Lead mechanical reliability efforts to reduce downtime and optimize maintenance performance Develop and manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs (lubrication, vibration, thermography, etc.) Conduct root cause analyses and recommend design or process improvements Support maintenance budget planning and equipment life-cycle optimization Lead or support capital improvement projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold plant safety and operational standards What You'll Bring B.S. in Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering (or related discipline with mechanical experience) 5+ years of mechanical/reliability engineering experience in sugar, food, or industrial manufacturing Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems Experience with Lean Six Sigma, RCA, and CMMS (SAP-HANA preferred) Proficiency in AutoCAD, ProE, MATLAB, Excel, Power BI , or related tools Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
