- What You Can Expect
- Paragon 28, a Zimmer Biomet Company focused on orthopedic medical device for the foot and ankle, is hiring a summer Engineering Intern for our Product Sustaining Team located in Englewood, CO.
- How You'll Create Impact
- + Observes and may participate in product development from ideation to commercialization through entire product life cycle with guidance from engineering staff including: + Competitive product for performance characteristics + Conceptualizing new design ideas + Solidworks for parametric modeling and detailing designs of P28 implants and instruments + Create design control documentation for P28 design history files + Development of testing protocols and testing process for new and existing products + Observe surgery (live, cadaver, or video) on lower extremity pathology.
- Your Background
- + Generally limited to students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related engineering discipline with an interest/background in medical device + Prior experience in medical device development helpful but not required + Familiarity with CAD. SolidWorks preferred. + Proficiency in MS Office + Effective communication skills

Hourly Rate:
$25.00-$30.00 USD per hour depending on skills, experience and academic level EOESimilar remote jobs
