Description Develops and maintains CPM schedules in accordance with owner specifications and company standards.
Applies resource leveling and crew logic to construction planning, adjusting as project conditions evolve.
Prepares baseline and monthly schedule narratives to support and explains the CPM schedule.
Assists with time impact and delay analyses for claims and schedule-related disputes.
Tracks schedule progress and notify project management of any deviations affecting completion targets.
Coordinates with engineering to gather data necessary for updating schedule activities.
Conducts daily site visits to verify work status and maintain photographic documentation of progress.
Reviews quantity books to assess percent complete and validates schedule accuracy.
Modifies CPM logic based on verbal direction from project management regarding sequencing or crew changes.
Creates and maintains 5-week look-ahead schedules in collaboration with superintendents and project managers.
Ensures alignment between the 5-week plan and CPM schedule, and communicates impacts of any discrepancies.
Generates and presents schedule reports, trending charts, and performance analyses for planning meetings.
Provides projections for revenue, cost, labor, materials, and equipment, and assists with historical schedule documentation and lessons learned post-project.
