Mechanical Engineers are essential to the success of our projects. Your expertise ensures every space we design is not only functional - but exceptional, from selecting efficient equipment, optimizing layouts, minimizing noise and complying with building and energy codes. If you have strong design experience, knowledge of applicable codes and standards, proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines, we invite you to apply. Key responsibilities Preform all duties required for the mechanical design of a project including but not limited to: Load calculations, outside air calculation, ductwork design, specifying equipment, drafting, reviewing drawings, energy calculations and quality control review changes. Respond to RFIs, permit comments, submittals in a timely manner Communicate with manufacture representatives and architects Willingness to mentor and teach younger mechanical team members. Design and model/draft mechanical systems from concept through completion. Core Competencies Excellent organizational and time management skills Positive and open-minded attitude Attention to detail Accountability and initiative mindset Qualifications BSME or 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering design for MEP systems Proficiency in Revit; AutoCAD experience preferred Familiar with building and energy codes Working knowledge of construction documents, specifications, and submittal reviews Background in multifamily, ALFs, student housing, hotels, or commercial projects Capable of reading and interpreting 2D/3D drawings Knowledge of building construction and how architectural and structural systems integrate with MEP Field experience or construction support preferred Able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and written instruction Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
