Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineering leader to build and lead our in-house mechanical engineering function (HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection). Key Responsibilities Lead mechanical design for healthcare and commercial projects (HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems) Perform and oversee Revit-based design, modeling, and documentation Conduct field surveys and translate real-world conditions into accurate design solutions Establish internal mechanical engineering processes, standards, and QA/QC workflows Review outsourced mechanical/plumbing work and transition scope in-house Hire, train, and mentor junior Mechanical Engineers as the team grows Collaborate with electrical, structural, and project teams to ensure integrated design delivery Support client interactions and contribute to business development efforts as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) - Mechanical 6-20 years of Mechanical Engineering experience Minimum 2+ years of experience as a licensed PE Strong hands-on design experience in HVAC and plumbing systems Expert-level proficiency in Revit ( required ) Experience conducting field surveys and translating findings into design deliverables Proven ability to take ownership and independently execute work Interest in building and mentoring a team Preferred Qualifications Healthcare or hospital project experience ( highly preferred ) Experience with fire protection systems Prior experience building or scaling a mechanical engineering team or department Familiarity with healthcare-specific codes, standards, and compliance requirementsPay:
