Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Research and Development Engineer role based in Gainesville, FL. The Research and Development Engineer will design, prototype, and optimize plasma-based sterilization technologies and related subsystems. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing experiments, analyzing performance data, and iterating on designs in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role involves developing and refining test protocols, documenting results, and contributing to product development roadmaps from concept through validation. The engineer will also support troubleshooting in the lab, interface with external research partners as needed, and help ensure that new solutions meet technical, regulatory, and safety requirements. Qualifications Strong foundation in Research and Development (R D) and Research, including experimental design, data collection, and interpretation.
