We are a leader and innovator in the metal manufacturing industry with a product line which includes stainless steel food service equipment; stainless steel wine towers; architectural stainless; animated stainless steel; stainless steel doors; side lights; door frames; stainless steel entrance systems; fire resistant and fire-rated doors. EMJAC Industries is seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join out forward-thinking engineering team. Your expertise will be essential in creating designs, ensuring manufacturability, and optimizing performance across diverse projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to pioneering engineering initiatives while working in a collaborative environment. The job responsibilities and requirements but are not limited to:- Develop sheet metal designs using 2D AutoCAD and PTC Creo solid modeling software ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Creating Bill of Materials
- Creating flat-pattern layouts for individual parts.
- Research and Development.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 3D Modeling experience is a plus, but we are willing to train. Job Requirements
- Preferred bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience in mechanical design and drafting within an engineering environment.
- Proficiency with CAD tools including AutoCAD SolidWorks and/or Creo for creating detailed models and schematics.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Must be flexible in performing other job responsibilities when the situation dictates
- Good interpersonal and communication skills required
- Problem Solving/Analysis
- Stainless Steel Food Service Equipment Experience preferred
- 3D Modeling software experience is a plus 9Pro-Engineer, CREO 4.0)
- Experience in Solid Edge, AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
