Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and drive the development of cutting-edge cryogenic measurement devices. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, analyzing, and refining mechanical components and systems that meet rigorous industry standards. Your expertise will help ensure our products deliver exceptional performance and reliability across diverse applications. Responsibilities Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software such as Inventor ensuring compliance with industry standards like ASME codes & standards. Create and review schematics, technical drawings, and drafting documentation to support manufacturing and assembly processes. Perform finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate structural integrity and optimize mechanical components for durability under cryogenic conditions. Conduct root cause analysis on mechanical failures or performance issues to identify improvements and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on system design, integrating mechanical knowledge with electrical systems. Support manufacturing processes by providing technical guidance on CNC machining, prototyping, and quality assurance procedures. Participate in project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of design milestones while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience Proven experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on mechanical design within high-tech or cryogenic environments. Strong proficiency in CAD software. AutoCad Experience Inventor experience Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to ensure precise manufacturing specifications. Knowledge of manufacturing techniques. Ability to perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures using systematic troubleshooting methods.
